If you haven't registered yet, there is still time before the late fee applies (late fee starts 5/27). I've attached the necessary forms to help you complete this process. One Release PER CHILD.

RSL Training sessions start this week. (attached is a flyer on Stroke and Turn.)
May 26th, 6:00p @ Spotsy Y
June 2nd, 6:00p @ Hampton Oaks
June 5th, 9:00a @ Leeland Station
June 8th, 6:00p @ Dahlgren
June 12th, 9:00a @ Fox Point
 
Anyone training for Stroke and Turn and Referee need to do the online training at strokeandturn.com BEFORE attending the training session. This online training now costs $10, the team will reimburse this cost if you get a receipt to Mary Miller.
 
It's hard to believe but practice starts next week (June 1st)!!
Practice schedule for evenings until school is out (6/1 - 6/3 and 6/7 - 6/10)
4:30 - 5:15p - 13y and up
5:15 - 6:00p - 9y - 12y
6:00 - 6:30p - 8y and under
 
Morning practices start June 14th.
**6:30 - 7:15a - Tuesday and Friday - Masters swim - for parents of swim team members**
7:30 - 8:30a - 13y and up
8:30 - 9:20a - 9y - 12y
9:20 - 9:55a - 8y and under
 
New suits will be in next week and available to try on and purchase at evening practices.
 
2010 LIGHTNING SPIRIT NIGHT! June 18th, 4:00p - closing, at Subway and Rita's on Leavells Road. Just mention the Lee's Hill Lightning and the team will get a percentage. Dinner, Dessert, family and friends! What could be better.

This year the Board members will be wearing yellow shirts at the meets (and the evening practices) to help you identify us.

Job Sign Ups

This year we are doing all of our job sign ups online like we did for Finals last year. It makes changes and notifications much easier! Please follow the directions below to sign up.

Job Requirements

Remember that the job requirements are 6 half meets per family. I know this is a huge time commitment but that is what it takes to run a swim team. If a family is not working their required times, their swimmer(s) will not be allowed to swim. Please check out the job descriptions for pertinent information.

Mock Meet and Finals

Working the mock meet and finals is not included in the required 6 half meets per family. If your child is swimming in either of those events, you will be asked to work. The sign ups for finals will come at the end of the season.

Online sign-ups

For our meet sign up, we are using My Sign Ups. It is a free program that allows us to manage our workers. You will need to click on the links to each meet to sign up. You will be required to put your name and your email address. I will be sending reminder emails throughout the summer of your jobs, but please make note of your jobs on your own calendar as well.

I said I forgot something!
 
Attached is the Release of Liability form. You must fill out one per swimmer. The registration form is one per family.
 
Also, the information to sign up for jobs WILL BE GIVEN OUT AT THE ICE CREAM SOCIAL, but you have to turn in your registration forms first.
 
Once I get the finalized 2010 Parent Handbook, I will email that and post it on the website.

This is the 2010 Lee's Hill Lightning season registration kick off.

I've attached a registration form.

 

Job sign up will be online ONLY, and open up MONDAY, APRIL 26TH

Once you are registered you will be given the log in information and password.

 

New this year, we are looking for veteran parents to mentor rookie swim parents.

Please check the box on the registration form to help.

 

Several jobs at a swim meet require RSL training, but this training is provided FREE!

Below is a list of jobs requiring training and the dates and times training will be held.
