This week’s meet is an AWAY Meet against the Hampton Oaks Hurricanes, and is our first American Division Meet!!
I still need a bit of volunteer help for the following positions:
- *Stroke and Turn – First Half
- *Stroke and Turn – Second Half
- Award Clerk – Second Half
- Safety Marshall – Second Half
We received the following information from the Hampton Oaks RSL Representative:
- Away team warm-up is at 5:30 – 5:55 p.m.
- Your team should allow a little extra time to walk, parking is very limited in our lot but there is ample street parking in the neighborhood.
- Please ask your team to be mindful of driveways and fire hydrants.
- There are 2 pools on our street - ours and Woodlands.
- Both are hosting meets on Wednesday so make sure they go to the one on the corner of Mine Rd and Northampton Blvd
- We will have a small concession stand with snacks and drinks as well as a food truck who will be selling BBQ.

It can take about ½ hour to drive up to Hampton Oaks without any traffic – so plan accordingly.
Parents – please remind your swimmers to be on their very best behavior!! Let’s have our team be a great visiting team!
I have included a copy of the Lane Timers Training brief I sent out earlier. I have added a lot of new e-mails – any new timers please review the presentation when you have a moment.
Unless things change – we are going to computer seed the meet. So we will only be using cards for the relay events. Sheets will be given to each lane that will cover multiple heats. If you worked at the RSL Championship Finals last year it will be the same.
The meet starts at 6:00 PM.
Warm ups for our team begins at 5:30 - 5:55 PM
Please arrive at the pool to check in with your coaches by 5:00 PM.
