Lee’s Hill Lightning Families,

 

Just a reminder that the LAST RSL Training Session for Officials is on:

 

Wednesday 10 June, 6:30 p.m. at Leeland Station

 

If you are interested in Stroke and Turn, or just need to renew, I NOW have the “keys” from the RSL to use at StrokeandTurn.com for the course.

 

We really need some additional Referee’s from our pool of Stroke and Turn trained officials.  It also makes the meets run much smoother if we use a  Admin Referee to help with the DQ slips.

 

In addition we are in need of Head Clerk of Course and Starters. Any position you are interested in!

 

The team really appreciates your willingness to volunteer and become trained. Without all our wonderful volunteers we could not hold our swim meets!

 

Remember the positions that require RSL training and that need to be renewed are:

 

Referee – Must renew every year

Starter – Good for two years

Stroke and Turn – Must renew by either attending and RSL training session or completing online training (First timers must do both)

Head Timer – Must renew every two years

Head Scorer – Must renew every two years

Head Clerk of Course – Must renew every two years

 

I have attached a general description from the RSL rules of all the Officials positions.
