RSL has anounced the training dates for the upcoming season:
5/28, 7 pm @ Hampton Oaks
5/30, 11 am @ Regency
6/4, 7 pm @ Spotsylvania YMCA
6/6, 9 am @ Fox Point
It is critical that we have referees, starters, stroke and turn judges, scoring, and clerk of course officials who are trained. Referees must be trained yearly. If you were trained in another position in 2007 or before, you must recertify.
If you signed up to train for a position at our 2008 End of Year Party, you will be contacted. If you signed up for one of the above positions at the Ice Cream Social, please contact either Mark Fischer at fischerma@verizon.net or Amy Talmadge at atalmadge@verizon.net for more information.
Our trained positions are critical to every meet, both home and away. The swim team cannot function without sufficient trained officials. Please go to one or more of the training sessions to ensure that our young swimmers will have the most support we can provide them!
