Greetings everyone,
The first week of morning practice is just about done and Saturday is our annual Mock Meet!! This meet serves several purposes:
1. It gives Coach Jay times for swimmers to help plan meets
2. It gives new swimmers an idea of how a swim goes, practice starting with the starting system etc.
3. It gives parents (old and new) a chance to practice setting up for a meet, and doing their volunteer jobs.
Set up will start about 7:00am
Swimmers should arrive by 7:15am
Swim meet finishes at 10:00am
Fundraiser at Salsarita's (in Southpoint II in front of Lowe's) begins at 1:00pm and runs through 4:00pm. You must bring the attached flyer and give it to your server for the team to earn a percentage. Please encourage friends and family in the area to join us! The more people that use these flyers the more money the team earns.
Parents please remind your swimmers (especially the older ones that come to practice without you) that when they are at practice they need to listen to the Coaches and be in the water swimming.
We have several new families this year - WELCOME!! Don't hesitate to ask any questions - we've all been there and some of us have "done that". There is also an FAQ on the website.
