Hello All!
Thankfully, we got in a good practice tonight before the rains return! I think everyone is ready for the Mock Meet!
The Concessions Committee asked me to forward some important information to you all.
The committee will be providing coffee and Powerade drink on Saturday morning! These drinks will be 50 cents or $1.00, so please be sure to bring your quarters and singles, as our kitty will be limited to make change.
Please feel free to bring any food item you may want on Saturday morning, as we will NOT be providing anything other than the drinks mentioned. Remember, pool rules still apply, so for safety, no glass bottles or containers on the pool deck.
The other important item we want to let you know about is regarding Concession Cards. Concession cards are $20.00 and they will be available for sale on Saturday morning, as well as at future meets. They never expire and allow parents to minimize the amount of cash they need to have on hand at the home meets for their families to purchase concessions. As your family spends money on concessions, they just mark off the card how much you have spent. It is especially handy to have in your swim bag for your children to grab when you are busy volunteering!!
As far as the Mock Meet, remember to arrive at the North Pool at 6:30 AM for a 7:00 AM start! We realize this is early, but we have to be off the pool deck by 10:00 AM so the lifeguards can begin their regular set up and day at the pool. The weather is forecasted to be lovely so it should be a great morning to be out! Everyone will feel much more comfortable with the process of a swim meet once we get through the mock meet.
